01 / About

Engineering meets scientific curiosity.

I’m a software engineer and researcher based in Ottawa, Canada. At Ford Motor Company, I develop C/C++ software for in-vehicle platforms, with work spanning over-the-air updates, vehicle services, embedded debugging, and system integration. I enjoy turning complex requirements into reliable software through hands-on development, testing, and collaboration across teams.

Alongside my industry work, I collaborate with the Detonation & Reactive Dynamics Laboratory at the University of Ottawa on shock-induced ignition, detonation, and compressible flow. My research combines analytical modeling with numerical simulation: developing CFD solvers, incorporating chemical kinetics, and validating models against experiments and high-fidelity simulations. This work has led to peer-reviewed publications, including first-author research in the Journal of Fluid Mechanics.

My broader interests include physics-guided machine learning and time-series modeling, and I work primarily in C/C++ and Python. I have also supported teaching and delivered lectures in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer. I hold a Master of Applied Science in Fluid Mechanics from the University of Ottawa and a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Central South University.
